Open to every MIT student from undergraduate to PhD. Teams start with $500 to $5,000 and two assigned mentors, then draw down to a cumulative ceiling of $25,000 as they hit milestones — all of it non-dilutive. Over the summer, teams can also allocate a stipend of $2,000 to $5,000 per MIT student working full time, capped at $10,000 per team. A pitch deck is required only for requests of $5,000 or more.
