Weights & Biases - Free Pro for academic institutions

Weights & Biases is an experiment tracking and model evaluation platform for machine learning research and development. It helps researchers log, visualize, and debug training runs, compare model performance, and collaborate on AI projects.

Academic institutions qualify for a free Pro license if pursuing research not connected to a for-profit entity. Students, professors, and postdoctoral researchers with an active email address from an academic institution can access all Pro features at no cost. The academic license includes unlimited tracked hours, 200GB of cloud storage, up to 25GB/month of Weave data ingestion, and up to 100 seats. Additional storage is available at $0.03 per GB monthly, though local hosting removes storage limits.

Verification requires an institutional email address. Organizations can also deploy Weights & Biases on their own infrastructure using a free enterprise trial license.
