GitHub Campus Experts - Apply to join Campus Experts program while student

GitHub Campus Experts is a leadership program for students who build and mentor developer communities on their campus. The program is free to join and requires application; selected students receive GitHub Pro access, mentorship from GitHub staff, event funding support, and exclusive resources to organize workshops, hackathons, and peer learning initiatives.

To qualify, you must first apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, which grants free access to GitHub Pro and industry tools. Campus Experts then receive additional support including GitHub Copilot (AI-powered code assistance), GitHub Actions (workflow automation), Codespaces (instant development environments), and twice-monthly technical guides and best practices. The program is designed for students committed to growing technical communities at their institution and helping peers develop real developer skills.
